PROJECTS/PROGRAMS
We intend to reduce poverty in support of the Pro-Poor Agenda and increase sustainable economic development, through capacity building with local actors and offering advisory services, networking, evidence based advocacy and value chain development thereby highlighting rural women empowerment scheme and encouraging youth participation; Liberia Sustainable Agriculture Initiative, Inc. (LSAI), will focus on the following:
- Establishment of farm-stead- demonstration site and training center.
- Proposal Development and Implementation of Projects.
- Extension Services – Training and farm development
- Value Chain and Marketing
Farm-Stead Development for Training of Farmers
- Power to the People - develop farmers capacity in various farming methodologies
- Economy and Jobs - revitalize small farming groups for the production of crops, livestock and fish farming to contribute to sustainable economic growth and development; to increase farmers’ income aimed at reducing poverty.
- Security and Rule of Law - farmers will know what to do and do what right to .follow guidelines in farm development process
- Governance and Transparent Institutions - farmers will learn the know how to work as a team following guidelines
Crop Production
- Empowered farmers to know how to produce their own crops
- Help farmers in the production of various crops for self- sufficiency which enhance food security
- Help farmers work together as a team, so that their leaders will become more responsible in all aspects of their endeavors – crops/fish/animals or livestock
Livestock Management
Empower farmers with know how to raise their own animals
Foods security a must when production is consistent and market is available

Fish Farming
- Building farmers capacity in fish production will empower them financially reducing poverty
